Dark Matter Pets are a class of pets introduced in Update 11. They have 3x the stats of rainbow pets, giving them an overall boost of x15 from normal pets.
To create a dark matter pet, you need to upgrade 5 rainbow pets, or 35 gold pets, or 350 regular pets. Prior to Update 12, you required 1000 regular pets / 100 gold pets / 10 rainbow pets to create a dark matter pet.
The Dark Matter Machine is located in the Dark Tech biome of the Tech World. It allows players to upgrade rainbow pets to dark matter pets. Their stats are 2⁶⁄₇ times the rainbow pets's stats, or 20 times the power of a normal pet.
It requires one to six pets, costing a given amount of Diamonds, based on the number of pets added. However, unlike the golden and rainbow machines, this machine always successfully upgrades. Instead, it takes time to make dark matter pets, which can be reduced by adding more pets into the machine. After completion, player can collect the pet in the "view" section of the machine. A total of six pets can be queued in the machine at a time.
Players can instantly collect the pet without waiting by spending Robux, as shown below. The Robux cost adjusts according to remaining time left, if a player used one pet and wishes to remove it after two days, i.e., it would cost 799 Robux. After two days, it changes to 399 robux, and when it reaches below 1 hour, it would cost 99 Robux.
