How to Send Yourself a Copy of Emails That You Write on iPhone 13 (Guide with Pictures)
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 13 in the iOS 15.5 operating system. However, these steps are the same on other Apple devices like the iPad or the iPod Touch, as well as most other iPhone models and most other recent versions of iOS.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down and select the Mail option.
Step 3: Scroll to the Composing section and tap the button next to Always BCC Myself to turn it on.

More Information on the Automatic BCC Feature on an iPhone
If you elect to use this option to always BCC yourself on an iPhone, you will receive an email in your inbox every time you write an email on your device.
This will not affect any emails that you write in other applications, such as if you use your email account on a computer Web browser, or if you use Microsoft Outlook.
There are several other options in the Composing group of the Mail settings menu that you might want to use. These include:
- Always BCC Myself – the subject of this article, wherein your iPhone will send you a copy of every email that you write on the device.
- Mark Addresses – will add an icon next to email messages that aren’t from specific email domains.
- Increase Quote Level – adds a level of indentation to emails after you have forwarded or replied to them.
- Include Attachments with Replies – if an email has an attachment then you can choose whether or not that attachment should be included with your message when you reply to it.
- Signature – if you are seeing a “Sent from my iPhone” message at the end of emails that you write, then this is where you would go to change that.
